How can it be perfect with no Campag? ;)

you know, i was a campag freak for over 30 years and then i built the eddy merckx
with dura ace 8 speed and as much as i hate to admit it after all these years of slating the stuff, it actually does work better than campag!!

Nobody is sayin Campagnolo works better than Shimano, it's just nicer. I'm sure there's a lot of frames which ride better than a Tommasini but they ain't Tommasini :)

yes they were - ME !!!

in my youth, i was forever banging on about how it worked better than shitmano but the truth is that i just liked the look of it better! i still say that you can't find anything better looking than the super record groupset and the rear mech especially...perhaps 'cos it cost me my first week's wages!! seriously, there was nothing better to see flying round the criterium circuit in the kellogg's city centre series than a lovely pro bike in 531 Pro or 753...
