The price isn't the problem, it's just I don't think he'll do it, but it's worth a go I guess

This is a bike I'm serious about, I've looked up the components on it and they seem to be a good spec, I just want some expert opinions - was planning on forking out 275 for it - is it worth that much? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111136149329? ... 1423.l2649
I'm also asking you whether it's worth much more than these two and whether Its better to opt for one of these, I like them all -http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231027611035?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 <- I recognise it isn't retro but forgive me

Ultegra is a nice bit of kit, what's the bike worth, only you can decide...

I like the green one!! Not a bad price, and as the seller says all wear parts recently replaced, so unlikely that it needs anymore money spending on it.

I would go for that one. I spent 250 on a similar bike made by Cougar a couple of years ago.

thanks, I recognised the ultegra was good in the Shimano hierarchy and I've been looking through some peugeot catalogues on cyclespeugeot.com since asking and the suggested price of that sort of bike is £800 + in 1997 (not that retro : P ), so it seems a fair deal. Lovely looking aswell, Thanks for the help - really appreciate all the help you guys have given me on looking for my first road bike, but this is the one, they said they wouldn't mind a courier so I'm just getting a few more photos sent by email , then its being bought! Cheers : )
