......sorry, doesn't do anything for me. Mavic couldn't even make proper wheels until they bought Superchampion.

Maybe it's me getting old :D

Generation difference Shaun, 70's is yours, I only started with a road bike in '87 (a rather nice Bianchi) so this stuff is the cats whiskers to me. Pity Mavic don't do groupsets these days, I reckon they'd be serious competition to the big boys.

Know the feeling on getting old though - 80's seems many many moons ago! :shock:
