Agree that is poor. In this case stretching things a bit seller indicates is has been built but not ridden.

Thought Merckx was doing steel corsas in these colours around the mid 00s, auction doesn't indicate respray?

There is no need to rephrase, I understand you think it's a respray.

I'm interested as to why you think it's been resprayed?

Given merckx certainly were doing molteni'd liveried Corsas fairly recently which details indicate it's been refinished? A quick comparison with this frame and this one I can see no obvious big differences which would inidicate it not be factory paint? Sure there are minor differences.

Clues for a respray are generally dropouts without chrome on them, stickers that are a tiny bit off and clear coat that is on a bit too thick. I am also unsure if the Campagnolo sticker should be one there.
