£200 for this ??

i wouldn't have given him 2 PENCE for it!! we sold them by the dozen
back then - they always came pre-assembled in cardboard "troughs" with
this heavy duty shrink wrap over them that only a stanley blade could
hack through...buckled steel wheels, every single one of them..
...DREADFUL!!

"only" £129.95 back in the day - i can't believe that some clown actually
paid over £200 for it. maybe they like the look of the rusty skewers...

guide dog, anyone?

I can see you lads don't work in marketing. It's the words 'vintage' and 'retro' that did the trick. The seller could have appealed to an even wider customer base if he'd managed to shoehorn 'fixie' in there somehow.

My Raleigh Magnum, complete with a couple of nice upgrades. achieved £91.

I'm not bitter.

i would pay even LESS if that word "fixie" was attached to the listing -
since when did midgets ride track bikes?!
