Never had the legs to try or the funds to buy!
I did read something on Sheldons about them being for track use only and saw some shocking photos of a failure. Not sure how that works out as I'm sure I've seen some Sheriff stars with a cassette on for road use and I assumed it was the flange design that was the weakness.
Miche primato for everyday and dura ace high flange on dry days for me.
 
They did make road versions as well.........still not enough metal in the flange :(
