I've seen quite a few pictures of him riding bikes. he used to ride a lot to boost his continual marathon running stamina and also he was a keen cyclist known to many on the regular scarborough run and a little known fact he raced in the 1951 tour of britian.

Not odd that he was a keen cyclist, nor odd that his estate are selling his trusty steeds. But a bit odd that they are also selling the lycra shorts and racewear of a gent who has passed. Whichever way you look at it.
