Could anyone tell me what they think is a fair price for this bike?

Seems to have rarity on its side but not a massive spec. Im keen to see it though, hopefully viewing this weekend.

Not 100% sure but I think that is a Suntour Ole groupset on there supposedly a rival to Shimano Sante at the time

It is a rare bike but I think £300 is pretty steep

Saw this on my weekly Fox hunt.

Wondering if the frame is a Japanese made Tange frame.

Interesting back story on the Suntour group as they were asked to design and make a group for a large manufacturer in the Style of Shimano Sante, they obliged and then the Manufacturer pulled the plug leaving the group orphaned.
Could that manufacturer have been Muddyfox who thought they may be able to sell a few racers on the back of their MTB success (they certainly were a big Suntour house in '87)?
Could be super rare group as well. Is it worth £300? £200 tops I reckon.

Carl.

fair enough, cheers.

possibly looks the kind of bike that would be too different not to snap up at £100/£125, but too rich at £200
