I might be alone here, but I'm really partial to East German Diamant bikes. I saw a lot of them when I was living in Berlin, and a friend bought an old Diamant track bike which was a beauty.
One day I will buy one, but for now I have no money. If anyone else is interested, there is one here, in pretty shabby condition.
The seller describes it as being a 'project piece', but only because the rear tyre won't hold air, the smaller chainring has been 'creatively' retrofitted (not really sure what he means) and some of the grease has seized up.
He says he'd post it to the UK for €55, and I was seriously interested until the auction price rose.
