WSS mountain bike race series

Has anyone done one of these before and if so, what was it like?

I'm thinking of entering the June 1st one as Frinsted. It's fairly easy for me to get to from Bromley on the train. Course wise it looks short per lap but obviously I'm curious what it's like! Has anyone cycled around here before?

The land sits atop the North Downs and a shallow valley,not ridden there but my local trails are thereabouts which run through chalk woodlands with some flinty tracks.The Pilgrims Way isn't far from there.

I'm curious too as I've entered the April event but never raced before.

Small update, got an email from the events team:

Many thanks for your email

You can enter only one race if you prefer, all races MTB racing can be entered on line (saving £2.00 per entry) or on the day £2.00 extra)

If you have not raced for a while we do have a category that may be more suited for yourself which is the Novice / Fun (2 laps) or the intermediate (3 laps) Masters is 5 laps

Each lap is approx 4 miles and has many obstacles and various terrains to challenge all styles of riding.

We hope to load a video of the course very soon to the website to help our riders have a little insight to our classic Cross Country cours
