I agree, most disappointing. Nice people at the jumble but nothing of interest for MTB.

I thought it was really good. Nice people, and lots of good stuff to buy. Got some great bits for not much cash.

I think the next one at Ripley is Saturday 9th June.

what good bits did you find then?

plenty of worn/tatty 1950's, 60's components and frames, loads of inner tubes and bar tape available cheaper online ?

there was one chap there last time I bought loads of half price brand new Park tools from, he was there this weekend too. He didn't have any good bits.

and nice people? one chap laid in to me for walking between two parked cars thinking I was eyeing up his rusty parts.

bread'n'butter pudding was nice in canteen though.

I didn't find anything of note. One guy had an Explosif frame, Orange Clockwork and a Saracen. Not my cuppa tea.

the clockwork was nice, but closer inspection the respray wasn't up there with the best.
