Thanks to warpedboy2 for leading and organising a great ride today, much appreciated and very enjoyable.

Good also to see Anthony and catch up, get some lunch and enjoy some very favourable weather. Definately a run to re-do in the future.

Not a great deal of pictures taken but here's one to be going on with - very small pic due to resizing and getting under limit.

Cheers :)

I woke up and i've caught what my neice had over christmas :(

Do you have a gps of the route you took?

Will do in a day or two, I need to clean it up as I managed to stop logging for part of the way. Hope you get well soon.

Edit: Route from station to Carats on Shoreham seafront here http://ridewithgps.com/trips/476490

Also updated in my GPS list, here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=115483

Edit 2: If you choose OSM cycle on the ridewithgps.com website, you can see the rest of the Downs Link route.

Had a great ride today, not as muddy as I feared, and the sun shined on us all day :D

Got a little bit "lost" leaving Horsham, but managed to wing it thanks to a handily placed bridalway and a bit of local knowledge.

Thanks to DA-EVO and Anthony for the excellent company, looking forward to doing it again.

Thanks both for a nice ride, and to Marcus for having the idea and organising such brilliant weather. Where was everybody else? Don't they like cycling?

Maybe another time we could do the Horsham to Guildford to Horsham leg?

Waited for you guys at the old station at west grinstead (by A272)
but was not sure if you had allready passed ? left at 10.45 and headed for the coast :) got to shorham at 12 ..and then just turned round and
headed back, got to west grinstead at 1.30
shame i missed you :( great ride apart from the short section through
that boggy field x2  will defo have to do it again maby with a few more riders next time ??
Mick :)

Thanks for that Dylan. I'm pretty sure the last time I was there we looked at a proposed housing development at Broadbridge Heath, then our Horsham-based host took us across country and we must have joined the Downs Link somewhere near Slinfold, which is about 5 miles further up than Copsale!

Maybe on a future occasion we ought to ask Ibelieveinfixies for recommended routes out of Horsham.

Bugger :(

you were in front of us, then we were in the pub when you passed on the way back

 dam !!
yeh left it a bit late to get over ...was going to meet you at horsham
but ran out of time to get there and then get parked up somewhere,
you cant have been far behind because i only stayed down by the bridge
for about ten mins before heading back ....could have done with that
pint as well  oh well next time ay.

I checked the pic and we were at west grinstead at 11.15 but not long after we had a puncture so doomed not to meet up. Hope you had a good cycle because if we had done it today it would have been terrible!
