depends where you are going...is it rigid friendly???

You need to be carefull saying things like that in Brighton....

I was thinking of either going up to the dyke, then across to chanctonbury, or going the other way over to ditchling, then either going through stamner, or heading over to telscombe and back along the seafont.

All this is dependant on the weather of course....

sounds like you need to practice what you preach :p

well if i get round to it, i could fit some new front sus forks to my spesh which would prepare me for a bumpier ride.....

will have to see what weather man says though too. plus the Mrs :)

Its fine to go rigid up the dyke. Oh, wait....

You'll be fine without suspenders. Damn....

Look, what i'm trying to say is the downs are smooth, I ride my p7 over the SDW nearly every day. So man up :D

Unless it's raining...

Might be lurking somewhere around that run, do you know which one you are likely to take?

Would love to come along but will be with my Son and Chanctonbury is a bit far for him. Else we are likely going to Whiteways.

Cool, what about up to the dyke, turn left, across the downs to the adur and back down the downs link to shoreham, then back along the seafront (with a stop at carrats caff for tea and cake)?

I've not been to whiteways, any good? Not got a car though so getting thetre could be problematic.

TBH we might just meet you at Carats - he is 11 and not been on his MTB for a while - so he needs a gradual start. As for Whiteways, I have a bike rack on the car that copes with 5 bikes so we could organise that no problems.

Whiteways is good and there are probably a few routes that we haven't yet discovered..

Could also sort a Bedgebury trip sometime. Spent most of the summer on my Road bike so have been missing the MTB.
