Very short notice ride + some pics

What a lovely ride. Guess you can have an aftermath with just one! :?

Got to the start about 11.20 and waited a bit, sorry if i didn't wait long enough. Weather was overcast, but warm. Never cycled this route in this direction before, so it was interesting to do.

Most of the route is near human habitation, but it makes good use of the paths available to get from Patching/Clapham woods to Sompting Village. There are a couple of short road sections, but it is maily single track and bridal way's. Got to Sompting Village at 13.15ish, a bit later than expected, but some tracks were overgrown with nettles etc, so i had a bit of a push.

It does contain one of my favourite lengths of single track though. We like going up, and down slopes, but across.....

Will try to give more notice of rides in the future

PS just noticed i got the date wrong in my first post. Very embarrassing

I recognise that first pic Dave...I'm normally coming the other way though!

Will have to give it a try one day, not been past Cissbury that way before

Max,

Been angling to do the following as a Retro ride, possibly the last national one.....
