Frame restoration in the South

Morning! I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction to get my Raleigh 753 frame and forks restored to their former glory. Ideally I want to be able to take it there and talk it through, so somewhere fairly local would be preferable. What do you suggest? Thanks

Chris Smith Restorations

Chris Smith appear to be a proper old fashioned business, no fancy websites or marketing, but lots of interesting and quirky projects on the go. I think that metal polishing and fabrication is their main area of expertise.

Nearby South Coast Bikes http://www.southcoastbikes.co.uk/ offer a one stop shop for servicing and restorations.

I have also used Willow Powder Coating http://www.willowpowdercoating.co.uk/ to refinish some car parts and the result was excellent.

Can't check out South Coast Bikes at the mo cos the website is not responding, but will have a look later. Don't think powder coating is the way to go for this bike, but my rat bike could do with a bit of tlc!
