I'm in Brighton this weekend and a ride there or nearby on Sunday 22nd would be grand - anyone fancy joining me/showing me around?

I'm not sure what I have in mind will appeal to Neil....

I feel that my request is not being taken seriously and as a result I will be like Jason Derulo....

I might be able to say hello. Mrs BobCat starts her new job on monday, so it might be a bit manic, but I'll let you know.

DA-EVO is usually upto something, as is Konaman1, they're both Brighton/Hove, as is Anthony..they know the area better than I..

Offroad would be good (MM 'training', see) but happy to go with road if that's preferred.

I'm away this weekend else I'd be keen.

There's some lovely rising in the downs that's a bit like eastnor, loads of good singletrack up at Stanmer Park too.

Have fun, and stay away from Dr Brightons...

I was going to sugest seafront cruse and ice cream but this sounds like a very good idea.

How about something like:

http://ridewithgps.com/trips/70909

Start at Brighton Station, up and over the downs, perhaps stop in Steyning for that real China cup and cakestand experience. Then up to Chanctonbury before a roll back along the river to Shoreham and into town along the seafront (perhaps via Carats).

Winds from the West, so more difficult on the outbound part but 'air-taxi' on the way back into Brighton. Weather forecast:
