After Jon posted up about the powder coaters in Horsham, I thought we should have a sticky thread for all items useful in the South East?

You know, good LBS, bad ones, powder coaters ,enamellers particularly bike-friendly pubs..that kind of thing?

Add the to the thread and I'll manage them in a list in this first post

Chris Smith Restorations is a fantastic place, the sort of business that perhaps once existed in every high street in the country at one time, an Aladin's Cave of curios, from torpedos, to candelabras, to minature cannons that fire shotgun cartirdges, the air thick with the smell of freshly polished brass and cutting fluid.
I left the frame, not expecting too much, but sure enough a couple of weeks later when I phoned they were surprised I hadn't been earlier to collect. The cost was a paltry £10, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Why not make this the sticky one Jon?

I don't mind keeping tabs on it. I'll add all new posts to the one at the top :)

The same can be said for Geared Bikes in Chichester, If is not a new Trek or Lapierre or they don't sell it they tell you everything else is sh*t
