Well that was a bit of a disaster! I only got cleared to start mountain biking on Wednesday after a six month lay-off following surgery. I had been doing some light riding, but nothing like this.
A combination of poor fitness and an inadequate warm-up meant that I placed a lowly 14th out of 17th in the Super Masters class. :roll: Never mind, I didn't crash and the shoulder didn't hurt too much. :?
I need a RetroBIKE jersery, people looked at me funny with my bike! Still nice to be different in a sea of carbon and hydroformed tubing.
