I grew up in Somerset and spent many happy hours riding all over the Quantocks. Raced in the Quest or Quiver (don't remember which) too. Not been there for about 15 years now. I really must go back soon.

Also spent a lot of time up and around Wellington Monument, Culmstock Beacon and all around there.

I haven't cycled up there for 15 yrs or so but used to most weeks. didn't have a favourite but was always attracted towards the pine trees. couldn't race round because i had to cycle back to Wellington so nearly always cut back through Crowcombe, Lydeard st Lawrence .

started riding again after 12 years off, go up often. Like both holford combe & hodders combe into holford, plus Weacombe combe and paradise combe. smiths combe is ok, but a bit too rocky in patches for me!

The chimney is a bit too hardcore for me (rigid forks) plus I'm only just getting my nerve back!
