Sorry, never cycled it, but they have a lovely cricket ground, and a good brewery. Bournemouth is about 30-40 mins away, as are the Purbecks.

bit short notice but dorset rough riders r doin this ride there tomorrow.
I copied the route so you can follow it and not have to meet them if you gon't want to.


Meet at Martin Down car park on the A354 near Pentridge from 9.15am for a 9.30 start and a moderate ride of around 30 miles in about 3 1/2 hours. Route is via Ackling Dyke, Broadchalke, Punchbowl and Barford St Martin. From there its into Grovely Wood,

It's good there,cross country,good views,occasional singletrack,and currently,there should be some bluebells about.
