Well that was a lovely ride :D
Thanks to Alex for showing us round, and I heartily recommend The Plough at Holford for their huge 'heart-attack in a baguette' (egg, sausage and bacon sarnie, mmmmmm!)
We even got some extra training hill reps in looking for a wayward Jimbo :lol:

I enjoyed the hour and a half I had :roll:

Compare this video of the Chimney descent to what we did and I think we can see what Alex was talking about regarding the erosion there.

yeah is a lot more rocky in places, that guy made it look so smooth, the film really doesn't do the gradient justice.

Look at this from 2006, when I was riding the chimney in the mid-late nineties it was completely different!!
