It looks like a fun route, although Hell lane is an appropriate name.

I better get the bike in tip top condition, so the weak link can only be me :D

We go around the back of golden cap on the bridalway. We do however have to cycle up the hill to stone barrow :shock:

Rode this today and I'm sorry to say most of it is so muddy its un-rideable.
Took nearly 6 hours because of all the walking :(
I'm going to suggest we postpone this ride until we get some dry weather.
What are peoples views on this?

That's what its like around here (probably everywhere) at the moment.

To be honest, its a bit of a drive and my free time is at a minimum at the mo, so i'd rather it was on when the route dries a bit and more people turn up.

I think that would seem a good idea looking at the pictures and considering that rain is due for a lot of the next few days :shock:

I must admit that postponing it gives me some more time to sort my new bike out as i was starting to worry that i would be 'bikeless' :oops:
