Yes, going ahead - I've been riding bits of the route & trimming back brambles etc. so it should all be good. Got some alternative sections in mind if we want to extend or shorten it.
Ride starts 10.00 sharp from the Haldon Grill just off the A380 @ top of Telegraph Hill. Park in far corner of their car park. 3 hour ride approx leaving 1 hour before the cafe closes. Bike jumble after refreshments.

Jimbo is it single speed friendly for someone with a bad back who hasnt done any exercise for 7 weeks?

1st half will be ok, walk up one sharp climb maybe, but 2nd half has to get up the top of Haldon again so a couple of unavoidable climbs. They are quite gradual though apart from Oakpark Lane which I believe to be unrideable (although Little Mark on here thinks he can do it!)
So, yes, what's the worst that can happen?

we'll go at the slowest rider's pace, wait @ end of trails etc. No pressure.
