Decide that its cold, its raining, its time to go for a ride.

Wet, muddy, claggy, quiet.

A day of sounds, guns and bird scarers, a distant A1.

The 6 cylinder thrum of a big Ford tractor at idle.

The squish squish squish of my tires in the rain.

The drip of moisture from the trees and bushes.

The sizzle of the wet pylons.

A three colour day - the grey of the sky and the road with the green and brown of the land.
