Are there any good (really good) pubs near Alconbury?

With proper cider on draught?

Just wondering................ :D

Is that for the Growlers ride? Sounds like a bit of a laff.

the best pubs had f-111's flying overhead while you sat in the beer garden. those days are gone!...so, no good pubs anymore

The pub we use for the 'Growlers Gates Ride' is The Old Ferry Boat at Holywel (near Needingworth). Good food, but the only pumped cider is Aspells - which is very good.
