Hi Guys,

you missed a very special event in Lincolnshire on Sunday the 7th, I was invited by the organisers to provide 50s and 60s bicycles for this event, myself and a few chums on a 1952 Hobbs, a 1952 Rotrax and a Triumph Roadster (to name three).

We rode on the closed roads (behind the classic cars and commercials) of Bourne in bright warm sunshine to the applause of the crowds - still in a celebratory mood after GBs great summer of cycling.

Superb event, we were glad to have taken part, I asked RBers but no-one showed and ounce of interest :?

Here's the link.

See this and weep that you didn't take part.

I cannot believe I didn't hear about this, the sound of those V16 BRM's is fantastic.

Very jealous.

I posted an invitation on this forum two weeks before the event.

Keep your eyes peeled I might just post another ride.

Rk.

P.S I've posted two really interesting events so far, and have had no interest - I'll give it one more try.

Were your eyes peeled enough to spot another forum member driving a car in the parade?!
