Feeling very tempted and by some amazing coincidence I am not away on those dates. Solo or pair? Need to think about that one.

While the last RB meet is still fresh in peoples minds I think we should advertise this to a wider audience.

last summer we pretty much plodded a good few hours around Thetford - I'm no racer but given what my next job might be, I see potential.

Well i'm signed in for the 10 hour solo - I know Dan will be up for it, also someone prod Lewis and Bob. Reki, i'm taking the wife and kids with me to enjoy it, maybe bring Jake and the misses along for a couple of day's out and make it a family affair? mine watched me at the weekend and thouroughly enjoyed it, though i did sack the last lap to make sure they didn't get to cold.

Having similar thoughts about the family thing too. My mum had a dig reminding me about the times she was a 'grass track motorcycle racing widow'. My dad would go off racing every weekend and leave us at home.

Have poked Lou74 (oo err mrs) about joining up for an 8hrs pair. Us old boys can't hack it these days. Have put a thread on the main events / races page too.

Just hope the doctor doesn't ban me from doing endurance events.

Think i am gonna be up for this as well ....my darling wife wants to experince sleeping outside in a tent and this could be the ideal event etc etc ....i suspect that 6 hours solo might kill but at least i will have the wife for a post race massage 8)

After my dismal Mayhem effort I'm tempted by the idea of racing somewhere flat.

Author:  neil__j [ Tue Jun 21, 2011 1:49 pm ]
Post subject:

Flat but very lumpy.

After this weekend I think Mark might have changed his mind about doing another race so soon!

I think I could be persuaded to give it a go if someone needs a partner for this. It'd better not rain though, I've had more than enough of that at Thetford.

Anyone going to camp for this over the entire weekend?.

I'm on for this .... in principal if someone fancies coupling up.

Could we enter as a trio?

Not nearly as sore as I thought I would have been.....just pride dented for only having done three laps

Anyone camping for this? finally got some info about this and it looks like no water on site as per usual, so make sure you stock up before hand. I'll be staying over on the Saturday night.

Once I've got the tractor up to speed there'll be no stopping me....no hills to get in the way!

Thetford, natural home of the Flatlander.

I'll be heading up Saturday morning.
