I know a few guys in this area and once i get my bikes built i would like to do a weekend trip up to one of your meets. Would this be ok???
I would need to find cheap travel that i can bring my bike with me and maybe a cheap hotel for the night. But i would like to meet up with guys i chat to on here and see where you guys ride. Not sure if this is alllowed though??

absolutely not. keep to youur own.
you are welcome to ride with us any time dude, as is everyone on the forum, new or old.

Course you can rojo. Looks like I'll be hosting a Lincoln ride in the next couple of months if you want to come along.

The general rule on RB is you can ride with whoever you want, wherever you want, whenever you want!

But .......

If you turn up on a bright orange 2010 bike ...... with discs ...... you have to go and sit in the corner first and thing about what you have done :D

I learnt my lesson ;)

Thanks Dave will let you know.

The other thing is that I am very very unfit so be slacking at the back :(

will hopefully be sending the explosif of this week to be repaired and resprayed.

This shouldn't be a problem if you're riding with the North Lincolnshire lot ;)

Them there hard Lincoln lads (and lasses, are there any lasses ?) though... aka might have you on a tag-a-long

As for the Angled folk, I have no idea but they only ride where it is flat anyway.

i could certainly use some company at the back dude.

i think i can speak for everyone on the forum when i say that group rides are as much about the socialising and banter as they are about the riding. we never leave anyone behind. granted, sometimes people do ride faster than others but they always wait if there is a junction in the trail, they reach the top of the hill, the bottom of the hill, they want to have a pee or a cup of coffee or whatever.

also most rides are pretty casual affairs. if you dont feel you can make it say something and the route can be altered. myself and chrisv40 went to dalby with some of the lincs and yorkshire/north east people. we were both suffering with the tail end of flu and it was baking hot. we were both riding at about 50%

we offered to return to the car park as we felt we were holding everyone up and we didnt want to ruin everyone's days. nobody asked us to go, in fact we were encouraged to keep going as everyone was enjoying the relaxed pace as it was so hot anyway.

group rides are just that. group rides

there are a few guys down devon way - why not organise your own little get together? i did that up here with mike and was amazed at how easy it was and also the great attitude local retrobikers have.

if it wasnt for retrobike and it's members there's no way i'd be riding as mich as i do.

starting to get a bit teary now. love you guys!
