Mercian in Derby do frame restorations - but they are a bit pricey. http://www.merciancycles.co.uk/renovation

I used these guys to sort out a stuck seat post and the customer service was appalling. Took 3 weeks and 5 chasing phone calls to get a reply. I ended up using Bob Jackson in leeds, they did a 1st class job and I think they offer a postage service for £30 if you don't want the drive.

If you could get over to leicester then I recommend: http://www.wedopowdercoating.co.uk/

£40 for frame and fork.

You'll need to remove the paint yourself though, or use a sand blasting firm. They can send it off to a different company for sand blasting at a cost of an extra £15 but turnover will be longer.

Mercian have raised their prices yet again. I think it's £140 just for a basic 1 colour job.

I used wedopowdercoating in Leicester to do my single speed, they were cheap as chips £35 for frame and forks including stripping. The finish is pretty good, but they did get powder into some of the threads, despite pointing out everything when I dropped it off, the bottom bracket threads were a nightmare to clear. I'd use them again but I'd take more precautions on getting them to mask off any threads before coating.

Hi..
I use Thornix coatings in Colwick.
In my opinion the best in the area, superb finish on all the stuff I have had done.

They don't strip alloy, but Pro-strip are at the bottom of the road and can dip alloy parts prior to coating.
Thornix do blast steel, but they often get a bit of a waiting list for this, so if you can take it stripped all good.

£50 for a frame to be coated....in white gloss, with the rear end matt black.
Dipping was a bit expensive, Pro Strip have a min charge of £30, but the job was quick and top notch.
