Clun and Hopton woods area?

Anyone familiar with this area at all? I've heard that there is some very good riding to be had there or thereabouts.

Fantastic cycling area. Long Mynd to the NE, Clun Forest to the West. Hilly , wild, quiet and good pubs. One of cyclings best kept secrets. Dont know it well enough to advise, aoart from Mynd, Stipperstones area.
Very envious.

I believe they've just opened a new trail centre at Hopton woods, but dont quote me on that.
