Saturday is ride day and we'll probably do the Rosedale Railway run as it should cope well with a bit of dampness at this time of year, good grub at the Lion too , camping Fri and Sat night with a vast array of real ales and live bands , make a weekend or just come for the day , Sunday is recover and go home day .

Sounds good - not done one before though, so any more details on venue etc would be good. Family friendly?

Depends on what you class as family friendly , camping is a field with a tap and toilets just over the road , pub is friendly but as It's in the middle of nowhere there's very little in the way of entertainment other than playing in the field and drinking beer, Venue in the New Inn at Cropton http://www.newinncropton.co.uk/ . The ride is not too technical but around 20 ish miles long ,and the scenery is stunning .
