Good hard ride, even downhill through the sucking mud felt like uphill, but really enjoyed it and the weather on the day was kind, though evidence of recent rain was clear to see. Everyone seemed to have a good time, familiar faces and new ones very friendly and welcoming. We had some good laughs, thanks to everyone.

Really good day was had by all im sure, despite the horrible muddy/peaty/boggy stuff everywhere that made it feel like you were riding on two flat tyres haha!

Oh and i proved to Chris that it isnt just a bouncy marin thing meaning youre going to fall off all the time, as i stayed on mine all day (ner ner)

Yet another ride i would happily do again no questions asked, just maybe a little drier weather on the preceding days please Vern!

On to my pics, ill not post them all as it seems i took over 150, just a select few...

Stunning scenery (of which there was lots, and mostly what i pictured in fairness)

Giant sandcastle in the distance...

Some peeps..

Trebz, having an 'off' day..

Then karma poked Chris in the eye for laughing at him as he fell in the same bog too..

Down we all go..

And unfortunately, down Dave went too..

Oopsie..

Railway lines disappearing into the valley..

And trails disappearing over the moor as far as the eye can see...

And further still..

Bikes at rest..

Riders at rest..

More endless trails..

Poweerrrrr....

Must, not, sto..... damnit!!

What you doing down there Trebz...

Dave down, again..

Then came the food stop at Levisham Station..

Cafe was tiny, but oh so nice..

Then we had entertainment while you eat, in the form of steam engines..

Not one, but two...

Then came 'The Climb'

Then came the horrified questions of "we're not going up that bugger are we"

Seems the answer was yes...

The views from the top were amazing though..

Us simple city dwellers are simply speechless by such epic vistas..

Then it was time to crack on as there was talk of rain, pah, never saw any myself..

Do keep up, first time i was in front of Mrmonkeywrench all bloody day actually..

Home stretch, car park was in sight at this point...

Tried to catch in shot, a remote controlled glider, one of many being flown by a massive group off the edge of the Hole of Horcum, in such wind i thought i was about to be blown off my bike, so how they didnt blow away, i simply dont know..

Last couple of the 'Hole'

Amazing pictures Spud. I'll post mine ASAP, I only took a few as I was too busy trying to keep my lungs in my chest cavity.
