HULL to YORK, & back again, Route 65 or 66?

HULL to YORK, the question is:
Route 65?
or
Route 66?

Route 65, starting from ELLOUGHTON, The OutGangs, looks confusing, few sign posts too! From browsing on Google Maps.

Route 66, starting from WALKINGTON, from Dog & Duck, looks easier to follow from Village to Village, to YORK, and about 10 miles shorter then Route 65, so Route 66 would be about 90 miles return, all day ride!

Comments from ppl who have ridden either of these routes Hull to York, wud be interesting!

Done it 110 miles return in 9 hours:
I just followed the named Villages below, the signs might not make sence in relation to their distance to each other, don't worry about that, it's just to give you a sense of direction, that's right this way come on getting there.
