Doesn't look half bad to be honest :shock:


I got my Claud Butler Magna from Grattan (I think?), it was then nicked and replaced with the same bike by the insurance :D

Then the 2nd one got nicked... think it was a sign or something.. :lol:

Is it an Al Carter? The seat stays look like the one I've just put in the for sale section.

You had more upmarket catalogues to get bikes from than I did BITD. Thats nice, it looks familiar but I cant figure it out :?

The detailing looks just like the Al Carter Professional I had. Though that was so heavy it probably wouldn't be worth stripping and painting!



If not branded an Al Carter then its got to be one of the other "Townsend / Falcon" group brands.

Falcon / British Eagle / Coventry Eagle / Townsend / Shogun / Claud Butler

Although I think BE CE and CB were lugged construction.

Edit: Holdsworth were another, but I think they were lugged too...
