Well the original plan to head North to an area we have never ridden when slightly wrong again but actually turned this into a much better and longer ride than it might have been.

Fantastic weather, fantastic trails and fantastic company and the 1st outing for Andy's new Marin Team Ti all made this a great day :D

Looking forward to next Sunday already

Some nice pics Chris!

Apologies for the alternate route to the plan

Finally made it onto the new trails today and got to Newbald after a few months of failed attempts.

Maybe we should have stayed well clear as Ben had 3 punctures in less than a mile (modern tyres might I add), fortunately the pub was across the road and after we had fixed the last one coffee and burgers improved our mood

The pic of the mangled chain by the way is a very peed off Ben's attempt at putting his back wheel back in

Yeah, you`d have been stuffed it he was using retro tyres they`d have popped the sidewalls out! At least a puncture is repairable :)

My Detect-O-Matic Dig-O-Meter is reading that as a hell yeah

Still not had a problem with my modern tubeless set up yet.....

...although saying that I suspect someone's Detect-O-Matic Jinx-O-Meter will have registered something with the above statement
