Great day's riding in the snow. Just out of the shower and now looking for some food.

More to follow...

How are you even home already? Or have been huddled in a ball in front of the bathroom radiator longer than I realised?

I smashed it back along the Middlewood way. I did start hallucinating a bit on the way home so I eased back a touch.
Those tyres are a bit draggy in the snow, but even worse on any bits of tarmac.

Overheard quote of the ride had to be in Lyme Park when a Father turned to his daughter and said "Look at those bikers, they are real men" as we battled our way across the Arctic tundra.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Great day out, riding, food, ale, and retro what more can be asked for.

couple of pics:

And I believe we awarded bike of the ride to Dossa for his 1992 Orange Prestige

so Pete,which one is you?

The fat one, yellow bottle in hand, corporate whore that I am, I won't be looking like that tomorrow though

Bright green Mountain Mayhem 11 T-shirt I think

I hate you all, gutted to have missed this, but then at 29 miles i reckon i would have still been out there.

worst of it is pete was right, if i had of made it to the A roads i would have got there no bother

Hallucinations and frostbite , i'm just suprised your balls didn't drop off

Not sure they didn't, have to check and get back to you...

I think the main ride was about twenty, I rode to the start as I'm in a total panic at my tragic lack of fitness and only about 140 days to Mayhem! :( Turns out the short road spin on the map was actually an evil 4mile climb and I'd fitted those spikes to my second heaviest, slowest bike...

Excuses excuses...

You'll be pleased to know you missed out on hours of me hugging radiators, showering until my skin nearly peeled off then collapsing on the bed waiting for Kiran to get home and take care of me! Not that I'm a great host anyway but last night was a lost cause!

Curry was excellent though.

You're welcome to come up for a weekend sometime anyway, get a couple of rides in that hopefully don't quite destroy me!

worst of it is pete was right
 Kiran hates that too
