Also a few others spring to mind...

- Cross Fell loop
- Gisburn revisit
- Kentmere loop
- Hebden bridge/Todmorden area
- C2C/Coast to Coast
- Gentle railway path pootle with multiple cafe/pub stops

Northern Carneddau loop,
Conwy/Tal y Fan/Llanfairfechan/Conwy.
A bit flippin' hard, but a fab day out.

The Clwydians is a great range of hills to ride.
I started biking on them on my Dyna-tech BITD.
Suffered hypothermia on them which wasn't pleasant,
nearly curled up in a ball, wanted to fall asleep, nearly died...

But Conwy as a destination
is probably half an hour further down the road. Tops.
And these hills are way much more fun. Geographically, physically and retroistically!

The Carneddau take a different mindset over the Clwydians, it's a bit more remote and out there, the riding is way better but you need some mountain sense if the conditions go against you. Hypothermia is not an option!

allways up for the clwyds
anybody been up and around woodhead ? I have an old route round there I took elpete up there last week 14mls up and around the longdendale valley pretty good riding a bit of everything realy

Would love to do the Cross Fell route. Proper epic. Might give it a go the summer.
