Anyone doing these?

Spurred on by the unmitigated success that was Mayhem I'd like to keep it up! Next one is July 25th I think and they badly need marshals too...

Anyone coming? :D

Looking forward to them too...

Shame I couldn't make the first three but hoping to do the rest; you know they've got new venues this year? ;) Should be a good introduction to a season of 'cross (good excuse to build another retro!).

Did the Chorlton one last night - the last in the series. Fast and furious at the front (so they tell me), leisurely and calm at the back....

The Hot's first race action - a great ride. The SunTour MD ran well for two laps then I remembered its 'characteristics' - lost access to the big ring (not that I use it much, partly thanks to the ginormously long throw to engage it) and the rear cluster packed up with debris. Still, the prettiest groupset ever...

Precisely the opposite of my normal operations...

Really sad to miss this one - the last two were great and convinced Kiran I should be allowed a 'cross bike to keep racing through the Winter, yay!

Glad you upheld the Retro entry

After the Chorlton XC race I rode home and noticed a big thump... thump... thump... from the back of the Hot - thought I'd buckled the wheel with my awesome power. Turns out the sidewall on the 18 year old Porcupine skinwall had collapsed... tsk... what kind of value is that?!
