Old School Grand Master
Hello

My urge to tinker has got the better of me. See this thread for a description of the madness:

Does anyone have an appropriate donor bike? It will need to have:

* OK head tube
* OK bottom bracket shell
* OK rear triangle

But everything else can be knackered. Accident damaged/unrideable is fine.

Slackish angles if possible.

I'll be honest with you, I'm not prepared to spend much money on this project, even if the bike was nice when it was usable. I'll swap it for something or pay for postage. In fact, if you cut the top and down tubes away I am happy with that.

Nice of you to offer, but new materials and new technology is beyond me. :oops:

Never really done suspension.

Depends what you have. Really can't afford much more than postage at the moment, but I have enough retro kit to stock a small shop so am up for swapsies.

Let's do a deal!

Alas, damaged in the wrong place for me to use it. :(

A good offer, though. If you wanted a Q bike, that would be it.

.

i've got an old aluminium spesh rockhopper frame. For some reason, god only knows why, I cut the rear brake bridge off and most of the cable lugs. Apart from that its fine, you can have it for postage+£5.
