The pink arrows highlight mod number one which was (using a Shimano ring as a template) to mod the teeth profile to improving shifting – the teeth are cut down in the same positions and same profile as the super glide rings.
Mod number two was the drilling out of the outer to save weight ( ), I will neaten the countersinks up, I was only 17 when I did this and didn’t have a countersink bit.
Mod number three was to remove the chain catch pin. As it’s a Ritchey ring the pin was 180° out as the Ritchey crank arms have the hidden 5th bolt.
