Need a pair of cut slicks/semi slicks for both ends of the Montage. It's going to france in a month and isn't built.

Something like Tioga City Slickers would be ideal, Schwalbe did a similar pair that i used once and they were really nice

Most stuff considered....

I've got some nearly new(about 50 miles old) Schwable 1.75 lightly treaded slicks. £17 posted to you sir ;)
 
1.75 rims? You mean nearly 2" wide? :shock:
Is it a clunker build?
I thought the only rims like that were sno-cat ones for Alaska.

They are absolutely fine on rims up to 30mm wide (used them on the mtn tandem), which are wider than almost anything else.

However I wouldn't advise fitting them to rims wider than the tyre section - it'll be horribly harsh.

Have a check.
 
Alesa had kindly written "1.75" on the rim- presume this is the reccomended tyre size. They're about 22mm wide.

Chris, i'm intrested in the schwalbe's, got a picture?
Should be OK as long as they're not flat spotted and the walls are intact.
