Having taken apart my 1997 Manitou Pro-C forks I find that the reason they don't work too well is that undreneath a couple of elastomers is a mangled mess of spring at the bottom of one of the stanchions...
Does anybody have a spare one? It's part of the cartridge system - so perhaps it's a standard size?
