I have a double chainset, BUT...
It was drilled by me in about 1993 with 8 5mm wide x 5mm deep holes staggered along the crank arms. Stupid I know but I thought it looked kinda cool then :roll: . If you are under 12 stone I would say confidently that they are alright and you can have them for free. If more then they can stay on my shed wall!
