Already spoilt for choice!

The Specialized looks faster... and I think it's cheaper. But following a rainy ride with V brakes this morning I'm leaning towards putting discs on my next build...

Quite funny rebadging a CB as a BTwin. Saying that, was there any prestige to owning a Claud by that time?

Anyone else? This is fun.

Mines disc ready and probably made in the same factory as the specialised.

Out of the same stuff, presumably, too.

Can you check dimensions when you get a minute?

Ooh, now you've got me, its in the shed and some tankard has buggered off with my tape measure

Its designed for a suspension fork and its a pretty long top tube.

Here it is built up earlier this year

My gut feeling is it's probably a bit big. I'm short arms and long legs so I reckon a long 20" might be a bit stretched out. I know I'm being fussy seeing how cheap these all are... but it's not worth building up a bike that doesn't fit.

Right, one tape measure has been found... the Specialized turned out to be a 17". Sizing of the CB/BTwin is still a mystery so unless LGF finds his measure and brings good news I'm still looking. Anyone?
