Is that not a Torus frame in your photo, from early 90's? I thought the Ti1000 was a lugged and Ti frame, not 34.9.
My Torus frames came with a specific Dynatech seat post at 28mmor so as they have an insert. The later RSP550/600 frames had similar collars but seat posts were Syncros or ITM again with insert. I can photograph the collar. Nothing special as far as I am aware and the same as on all RSP range.

Definitely a '94 MTi1000 with original seat post clamp on my photo [1]. I'm currently rebuilding one, but I'm also missing the original Tioga DL2000 seat post. '93 MTi1000 had a different blue color scheme [2].
The frame of the Torus, MTi1000, MTi2000 and Gazelle Titanium Pro [3] is the same: plasma ARC welded CP titanium [4]. And the seat tube is 34.9mm in diameter. Interestingly, it thus seems that the shim inserted into the seat tube is different as your Torus requires 28mm seat post vs. 29.8mm for MTi1000/2000 [5] (don't know for Gazelle).
About Torus seat post collar, here's a picture I've found months ago of one on a Torus XT frame for sale:
Does yours look the same? And indeed, the shim inserted into the seat tube is way thicker than on my MTi1000.

Ah it is the JT Torus frame, that is what confused me. First one had the 30mm but the frame cracking resulted in the insert, which never seem to be consistent in size. Mine is 28mm but others have been 27.2 or so.
Some of JTs had a blue Tioga seat post collar (and blue DL2000), but then again they did seem to be parts bin made. I swapped by collar for a QR type. I have black ones on my later RSP frames but they are not the same from memory.
