Very early MTB frame wanted, any condition

Something along the lines of a Dawes Ranger, 1st Gen Stumpjumper etc. Long wheelbase, extreme angles, probably really uncomfortable - flat top forks (not unicrown). Don't mind condition, as I'll be looking to strip and respray before rebuilding. Looking to pay UN-silly money, doesn't have to be a museum piece.

I have a late 80's Raleigh Ozark which is a pretty rare and quality frame although isn't quite as sought after as the Stumpjumpers and their like from this time. Any good?

Are you looking for 531 or anything with that geometry and flat top forks?

Yes - 531, early style flat top forks and long wheel-base. An early Stumpjumper is the template but they're pretty hard to find at sensible prices.
