Looking for a nice lightweight rear hub
must be:
➡️ disc ready, ideally 6-bolt but others might work
➡️ standard mtb 135mm OLD
➡️ lightweight
➡️ in good condition, used is fine but must look tidy and work properly

ideally:
➡️ standard cassette fitting but not essential.
➡️ black, maybe silver. other colours are not off the table but would take some thinking about.

Budget is limited. Can find decent used Hopes on the evilbay for £20-30 so that's the sort of spend I'm looking at.

Ta! :D

Re: WTD: Rear Hub. Light. Disc. Tidy.

should add I'm not precious about the make, model or age - new is fine, old is fine.

Re:

Damn! I just saw this and have posted the other stuff. I almost certainly have an old black hope one, I will take a look tonight and if its there I will do it properly cheap if youre interested?

Hi I can't find the Hope but have an old black Ringle 6 bolt cassette 135mm one. It works fine but could probably do with new bearings. yours for a tenner posted?

Re:

May or may not be just the ticket, but for a tenner there's only so far wrong it can go.

I'll send you some ££ in the morning :)

Re:

Thanks to Biffa I now have a black 32 hole disc rear hub that weighs almost exactly the same as my existing black 32 hole disc rear hub. At least I have choices now :)

Still on the lookout for something a bit lighter though!

Re: WTD: Rear Hub. Light. Disc. Tidy.

Doh! If its no use I will take it back and sort you out for the cost?
