I don't really know if I should put this in the pre or post 98 section but here goes anyway...
After thinning my old treasures down to the point where I literally have a single leather toe strap left, I find myself wanting/needing a nice oldie in my life again. I thought i'd flag this up as potential swap material in case somebody here was looking to do the exact opposite!
I'd love a 21-22" pre Trek Klein back in the stable again (or something similar). I have a brand new/unbuilt Trek fuel ex 9.9 carbon frame in 21.5". It's a 2012 model so runs 26" wheels. Frame is standard factory spec, has carbon front triangle, seat stays and chain stays, it comes with a fox kashima shock, fsa h/set, bonti q/r seat clamp and includes a rear maxle. The frame fits a 142mm rear hub, a 31.6 seat post and fits a standard tapered fork. The frame retailed at £2500 and is a damned sexy piece of kit.
The down side..... I am about as mobile as a snail so anybody tempted might want to be close to West Yorkshire!
If anybody has anything that fits the bill please shout!
