For my latest car crash. Need to move enough cable for nine speed deore but not necessarily indexed. Thanks. Ratty is fine if they work on a 3x9

arguable regarding the forum, looks like an mtb in the pic but with road bars, this is something seen from time to time.

for 9 speed bar end shifters you may be looking for Dura Ace believe it or not.

Yes was trying different levers. I fancy the aero with bar end and cantis on the mtb rat bike for a change. Not the flight deck.

its a drop-bar mtb - the forum is full of them.
Bar end shifters work better when mixing road and mtb as mtb front mechs dont index well to road STi due to different cable pull, reach, etc etc.
I've just used my last 9sp set, only 8spd left

I had one into the mid 90's
one from the XTR 950 range
I stay with my point, worng section for asking
beter luck into the road section

Yes, you should already know that as the cassettes are the same width, they can be switched to friction. You can also use the mounts for downtube shifters if you have any 9spd hanging around.
I may also have some V-brake road levers too
