Zoom Original Stem. SORTED.

Settled for a cheapish substitute!

A long shot but....

A steel quill stem, 1" quill for 1 1/8" steerer. Like this, but SHORTER! I measure current one at 135, but seem to be rated at 140. Ideal would be 100mm c to c.

For my "new" totally original and in almost perfect condition '93 Raleigh Ravine.

Something visually similar would probably be nearest I can get!

I have 2 stems here in 1" and 1 1/8" NOS in box

Thanks for that, but 120 will not I think be sufficiently short(er).

Arent all the zoom stems of pretty long length though? Are you sure you can get one in 100mm?

Certainly long are much more common - but there was apparently a 105 version. There is a NOS (but in silver) on ebay described as 110. Probably the shortest I'll find so it's that or "just a stem"!

That's very good of you CTK. I'd settle for a 105, but with post it would come to one third of what I paid for the complete, pretty much as new, bike and I'll have to think about that!
